On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you to join us for the 13th Australasian Virology Society Meeting, to be held at National Wine Centre, Adelaide, South Australia from 7-10 December 2026.
Biennial AVS meetings bring together virologists from around Australasia to promote scientific exchange and collaboration in a relaxed atmosphere. We aim to cover diverse virology disciplines including molecular virology, systems virology, virus discovery, antiviral and vaccine development, clinical virology, Indigenous virology, structural virology, immunology and innate immunity. The meeting will feature keynote and invited presentations from leading international and national virologists.

Monday 7 December 2026, 4:00pm: Opening Plenary Session
from 12:30pm: ECR Lunch, ECR Events and Registration will open
from 4:00pm: Welcome Session and Plenary Presentation (Ruth Bishop Oration)
Thursday 10 December 2026 5:00pm: Concludes, Conference Dinner 7- 9pm
