Special General Meeting (SGM)

We are holding this SGM to vote on two special resolutions to be passed:

(i) we would like to accept the declaration of intent of the current AVS Committee of Management (CoM) officers (except President and Vice President) and members to step down at the upcoming AVS13 2026 AGM meeting, and

(ii) that a new election be held during the AVS13 2026 AGM, with members and officers (including President and Vice President) be elected for 2-year terms from the date of the AVS13 2026 AGM.

We are requesting these special resolutions to realign the AVS CoM nomination and election process with our face-to-face biennial meeting, that was disrupted over the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SGM on June 9th will be held online over Zoom with a poll function and should take no longer than 15-30 mins.
