Chor Ee is the Virology Service Lead within Health Laboratories at PHF Science. He provides strategic, operational and scientific leadership across Clinical Virology and Enteric, Environmental and Food Virology laboratories. A registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with 20 years of experience in diagnostic virology, molecular pathology and public health laboratory services, Chor Ee has held leadership roles in both clinical and reference laboratory settings. His expertise spans laboratory operations, quality and risk management, workforce leadership, outbreak response, and service development. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in virology, molecular diagnostics and infectious disease, supporting New Zealand's public health and healthcare systems.
